After 12 successful years, Hong Kong’s leading fine dining restaurant Amber at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, closed with the goal to evolve into a new direction. CatchOn worked with Culinary Director Richard Ekkebus to investigate the future of fine dining through a comprehensive market research study to help refine his new concept. CatchOn crafted Amber’s manifesto and launched the restaurant through a series of press initiatives. As a result, Amber was named the recipient of the Sustainable Restaurant Award, sponsored by Beronia, in the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2020 awards ceremony and continues to be regarded as one of the region’s top dining institutions.
